Developers Doing Things

So over the past week I have done something I'm ashamed to say that I haven't done in a long time.
I spent time IRL with developers. Brilliant ones at that.
Over the past two years I transitioned from working for a company full-time in office to working for myself remotely (mostly by myself and at home.) Because of this, outside of a few conferences, I have had little to no IRL interaction with other developers.
It wasn't until this last week that it hit me in the middle of a lunch discussing passion projects and our most recent frustrating obstacles how much I missed this and needed more moments like this.
Reignited with excitement to interact with my peers I attended a boot camp demo day. Every dev was so excited about what they created and their new potential futures. And everything they built showcased their skills and passions. Which got me thinking about a way to showcase projects and share information for more IRL interactions to happen.
Developers Doing Things is a platform I'm working on to do just that. My first little passion project to honor the feels and motivation I got from this week.
Check it out! And feel free to contribute :)
